Now, I'm not saying that DLH won't win, because I think he will. BUT In the slim potential that this is actually a competitive, close fight, does anyone see a replay of the Sturm decision happening? |

absolutely not. sturm was a true middleweight who was actually good that people didn't know anything about with oscar coming in for his first 160 fight looking fat and out of shape. this is at his real weightclass he should've always been at against a guy everyone knows. oscar is going to murder him. mid round stoppage unless he wants to get some rounds in, then maybe 8 or 9th. |

no ko but i had it 120-108 a shutout for oscar. he looked great tonight. forbes isn't an elite fighter but he's fast accurate with good defense and a great freakin chin. oscar's jab is back and it was on point all night as was his cardio, a strong 12 rounds that we haven't seen from him in a while. welterweight is his weight and i've said that for a long time and wondered why he never went back there or more recently anyways. they fought at 150 but this is how he would look at 147. i know he wants floyd in sept and i still think he can beat him if he fights like he did tonight but with a little tighter defense because forbes did hit him a little too often luckily not a big puncher. if he beats floyd expect cotto in dec in which oscar's career comes to a screeching halt with an 'l'. lol either way if cotto beats up margarito which is a very hard fight he should no doubt get the winner of floyd/oscar but we'll see. |

I am a Legend!

Pretty much the way EVERYONE saw this fight going down. Curious to know why he even took this fight. If, for some reason he lost this fight (which was none to none) he would have train wrecked his career. Just seemed like it IS a lose-lose situation for Oscar. If he loses, he is forgotten about in the upcoming fights. If he wins, he beat a WAY undermatched opponent. Didn't show me anything new or answer any questions I had regarding Oscar.

you gotta be kidding. he looked like he did when he actually gave a shit about fighting. when is the last time you seen oscar fight for 12 straight rounds hard and not gas??? that's one thing right there on top of a bunch he improved on recently. this was just a warm up fight for him and if you watched it they said in the beginning he held it in the soccer stadium to hold over 27k people on regular hbo near la so people that couldn't afford fights normally could come watch. they said you could get great seats at just $75 for that event, i think that shows a lot of class for oscar because you are right he had nothing to gain only to lose but he showed up 100% ready and focused, you can't dog him at all for this. now he got mayweather next then wants cotto in december i'm assuming only if he beats floyd. |
