This forum has had no posts in over 2 months so i figured i'd try to get some love on here.

I think Manny just moving up to 135 his last fight and now up two more weightclasses for this fight is a huge mistake and he will get owned by Oscar's jab and much bigger frame plus Oscar is just more talented anyways. Manny will be outboxed and outclassed from start to finish and if Oscar really wanted it i think he could even stop him late in the fight. Manny won't be able to KO him because Oscar's faced bigger punchers like Tito and fared well, Manny's power won't carry over enough this far up. He walked into his last fight at 147lbs. This is a big waste of time but another fight that Oscar will sell PPVs with.

I've got DLH by Decision in this one, Oscar will be too big for Pacquaio, not to mention when the fight happens on that night, oscar will probably be up to probably something like mid 150 weight range, anyways. Lets face it Pac Man ain't knocking out DLH, I'd be shocked if it happens. The only way he does win, is with his energy and pace to try and wear down oscar so he can get clean shots, and who knows it could happen, oscar hasn't been at 147 for a while so maybe making weight could drain him, unlikely though.

Oscar by decision, if he comes in super motivated since its his last fight than KO.

Oscar's fight with Forbes was suppose to be at 147 but it was changed to 150, i'm sure he can make 147 but i wouldn't doubt if he struggled just a little or changes it to 150 too. Oscar schooled the hell out of Forbes and Forbes has an iron chin and has never been dropped. Pacman has been hurt, dropped, and can be finished, that's the only question i have, can Oscar finish him not can he win. lol

Its been a long time since Manny has been finished in a fight, but It can happen. I see your point though. The key to beating Manny is simple though, Box him ala JMM and you'll win, if Oscar uses that jab, he is going to tool Pac, the only thing Is will he revert back to the old DLH and get too comfortable and laid back on the later rounds like he's done in the past, I say probably not, since he did finish very strong against an already past his prime Forbes.

Don't forget to mention, he does have Nacho as his trainer now, and if anyone knows Pacman style it would be Nacho.

Considering how much weight that Manny is giving up in the fight, the least Oscar can do is make it all the way down to 147 for him. I know that the smart bet is to go with Oscar in the fight but I'm rooting for Pac-Man nevertheless.

After this fight happens I want to see Manny fight at 140 against Ricky Hatton.

I think whats add a little more intrigue to the match is, How will Manny put on the weight? Will he go the route of a Bernard Hopkins, and hire a nutritionist? My potential way of seeing how this fight goes down is, Oscar goes right after Pacquaio and applies pressure on him and gives him a taste of that left hook to see how Pac man holds up, I think if Oscar goes all out and lets the guns blaze, he will knock out Manny.

I don't think Manny will need to cut or bulk, he came into the Diaz fight at 147lbs the day of the fight putting on 12lbs from 135.

I decided i'm not paying for this circus show. There's a guy on the undercard Juan Manuel Lopez who is a monster, he's rolling over dudes that are top notch. He's in the class of Rafael Marquez and Israel Vasquez, they need to fight him. But anyways i'll be watching this via online in my bed.

With lubricant?

I'll be watching this if it doesn't interfere with the K-1 GP finals.

oscar is too smart of a boxer to lose this fight in which he is the much bigger guy. oscar is also fast and has serious pop, no way manny wins this fight unless oscar wants to lose and i don't think he wants to go out with a loss, he wants to go out saying i beat the p4p best at the time.

Manny weighed in at 142. Kind of glad that he didn't put on too much weight when his speed is going to be a major factor.

I don't know why but I just feel a passing of the torch feeling to this fight. Pac-Man outpoints Oscar by a few points.

his speed won't be a factor because oscar is super fast too. oscar kept up with floyd and mosely, two of the fastest ever and while manny might be fast he's not on that level especially with technique being added to that speed. being wild but fast doesn't mean much. oscar will be just as fast if not faster and he should easily outbox manny and maybe even stop him. oscar was 145 and at 147 oscar is just nasty, that is HIS weight, not 154 and not 160. manny has no chance outside of an oscar dive.
