So Pacquiao vs. Cotto is official for November 14th at a catchweight of 145lbs. If you want to fight a Welterweight fight AT Welterweight, what the hell is 2 more pounds?! It's a pussy move for Pac to try and get every advantage he can against Cotto instead of fighting in the damn division. Problem is i don't think 145 is going to be an issue cause Cotto has been coming in around 146 for fights anyway, a pound won't kill him. Pac's myth comes to an end on 11-14 as does the hopes and dreams of Pac vs. Mayweather. Get ready for Mayweather/Cotto flame to be reignited IF Mayweather gets passed Marquez first. Cotto is too big and too strong for Pac at this weight and it'll show. Pac is fast but Cotto is also fast enough to not get hit everytime out with good counters. If this was at 140lbs i think Pac has a much better shot cause Cotto was always drained before his fights. I cannot wait to see the odds for this fight, i hope Pac is a big favorite but i doubt it. |

Doubted vs. Hatton?! Don't make shit up. I doubted him vs. Oscar as i should. Did anyone know Oscar would have a horrible weight cut and weigh like 142lbs 2 weeks before the fight?? Intangibles pal. He's not that lucky here, Cotto is in his prime and not overrated. He will hand Pac his ass, bank on it. |

I'm gonna have to side with Cruz on this one. I can't quite figure out why everyone lately has been saying Cotto is not the same fighter. He is damaged good etc. Atlas and countless other have stated this. Seriously Cotto just fought two of the roughest pressure fighters in the WW division (Including one who cheated) and he had shit going down with Evangelista going into the Clottey fight. I'm sure that whole situation was a distraction to Cotto. Mark my words if there were demons or whatever in Cotto's head they should be out and by the time this fight comes to November his uncle isn't going to be a distraction for him. How soon people are to forget what Cotto is capable of. Does anyone remember the Mosley fight? Does anyone remember the Malignaggi fight. Those were two guys that were suppose to be faster hand speed wise than Cotto. Cotto out hand speeded them, boxed and punished (Paulie). Oh but this is Manny Pac man. Yes pac man is a different league hand speed wise. But do you honestly think Pac man can take body punches from Cotto??? I guess we'll see when he gets on the ropes for the first time and Cotto's laying in those vicious body shots. Guarantee you guys Cotto won't go back to head hunting like he did against Margarito. He will go back to his bread and butter. Speed can't kill Body punches in close proximity. Body punches kill speed. Nuff said. Edited by Dralion, Jul 29 2009, 03:10 AM.

Nothing but a real trainer was gonna stop Cotto from losing that fight. His corner was HORRIBLE. |

Mayweather needs to stop bitching around and finally get in the ring with Pac Man. That's about the only fight I want to see either of them take at this point in time as their next matchup. |

He's too good defensively, that's all he does. Mayweather fights are usually snooze fests. |
